Swampscott most popular Beaches
Eismen’s Beach:
Located on Puritan road, parking available off of Humphrey st. Parking sticker required.
-Small yet very clean, flat sandy beach. One of my favorites to relax as it’s easy to navigate with kids in tow.
Philips:
Located on Ocean avenue.
Parking available in designated areas with signs along Ocean avenue close to beach. Parking sticker required. Be sure not to park inside parking lot assigned to the beach club members.
-Most popular beach. Larger beach with lifeguards on duty in summer and lots of sand to stretch and play. Bigger waves at this beach.
Fishermens:
Located on Humphrey st.
No beach parking sticker required however two hour parking maximum along Humphrey street.
-Boating and swimming with pier and launching ramp. Casual beach, mostly for a quick beach day or to read a book and is also a great place to observe tide pools. Also, for town sailing programs.
Note: NO life guards available at this beach.
Preston:
Located on Atlantic avenue..towards Marblehead.
Parking sticker also required here.
Sandy beach allowing swimming, however no life guard on duty. Ice cream trucks often visit this location- great for a quick cool treat while at the beach.
